Phoenix Blues Society
The non-profit Phoenix Blues Society was founded in 1989, and is one of more than 100 national and worldwide affiliates of The Blues Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) corporation based in Memphis, Tennessee. The Blues Foundation was established in 1980 to promote and perpetuate Blues music and is the globally recognized clearinghouse for the Blues.
The Phoenix Blues Society, an all-volunteer organization, supports local and national music, Blues culture and heritage, arts education, and more. Highlights of the Blues Society's annual calendar include the Blues Blast festival, held in February and the Arizona Blues Showdown (statewide preliminaries for The Blues Foundation's international competition in Memphis). Phoenix Chamber Music Society
The Phoenix Chamber Music Society opened its first season in 1961 with a series of four concerts at the Phoenix Art Museum, performed by a quartet of Phoenix Symphony Orchestra members. That fall, the society brought three touring groups to play before sold-out audiences at Longview Elementary School and, before long, Kerr Studio. Louise Kerr (1891-1977), an avid chamber music player, was a founder and enthusiastic supporter of the Society. She, and co-founder, Lewis J. Phoenix Film Foundation
The Phoenix Film Foundation is a 501c3 Non-profit Organization whose purpose is to support and develop the growth of independent filmmaking in Arizona. The Foundation's mission statement is to promote the exhibition of works by filmmakers' and conduct educational programs that teach the art of independent filmmaking. The Foundation has sponsored the annual Phoenix Film Festival and has created IFP-Phoenix to promote education and cooperation within the Arizona film community. Phoenix Girls Chorus
The Phoenix Girls Chorus, founded in 1981 by Daniel Hooper, is the Valley's premier girls chorus. The Chorus has grown to a program of five choirs with an enrollment of 200 girls ages 7 to 18. A non-profit 501(c)3 organization, the chorus is funded by tuition, concert revenue, corporate sponsors, fundraising, public and private agencies, and individual donors. Under the artistic direction of Sue Kenly Marshall, who has been on the staff since 1981, the choirs regularly perform throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, the State of Arizona, nationally, and internationally.

Phoenix Opera (PMO)
The Phoenix Opera (PMO) has been established to perpetuate the performance of professional opera in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Founded by John Massaro and Gail Dubinbaum, the success of PMO will stem from presenting a consistent artistic vision: the promotion and performance of traditional operatic productions, drawn from a repertoire of popular works from the late 18th through early 20th centuries that continue to delight audiences throughout the world. Phoenix Museum of History
The Phoenix Museum of History is a sleek and elegant 20,000 square foot facility that hosts both a main gallery and a changing exhibit gallery, facilities that can be rented for events or meetings, a library and archives room featuring rare and current books on Arizona history, and a beautiful museum store that offers unique gifts and books.
