West’s women artists ride back to Wickenburg for the return of Cowgirl Up! - Art from the Other Half of the West Exhibition and Sale. Recognized as one of Arizona’s two top events in 2006 and attended by more than 12,000 visitors last year, Cowgirl Up! is the most important exhibition and sale for women artists in the nation; among those showcased are local “stars” such as Anne Coe, Joni Falk and Linda Glover-Gooch. The event is enhanced by a spirited round-up of special events including a new “boot camp” trail ride for the artists, art previews, the “Bash and Bid” gala awards dinner and auction, a chuck wagon breakfast and quick draw and a Monday finale billed as “Lunch with a Legend.”
