Add Review/CommentMaking art is a revealing process that places the artist in a position of public vulnerability few of us ever risk. For artists who use their bodies as imagery in their art, this sense of exposure is amplified. Artists Lyle Ashton Harris and Liz Cohen discuss the complexities of their very-different representations of the body and concepts of self-performance. In conjunction with SMoCA's exhibitions Car Culture and Lyle Ashton Harris: Blow Up, is moderated by Cassandra Coblentz, SMoCA's associate curator. Event Location: Stage 2 Theater
