One of the most highly anticipated events of 2008, West Valley Art Museum's 'Literary Feasts' with a 'literature-art-cuisine' program will feature author Harvey Rachlin, author of Scandals, Vandals and da Vincis. The event begins with a private reception at the Museum where guests will meet the author and have books signed while enjoying music and refreshments. Guests will then proceed to an elegant lunch or dinner feast specially prepared in relation to the featured book. The series wraps up with Harvey Rachlin, author of the long-running smash-hit History Channel series, 'History's Lost and Found', based on his best-selling books, Lucy's Bones and Jumbo's Hide. His latest novel, Scandals, Vandals and Da Vincis, delves into the intriguing stories behind the painting of the masterpieces of Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Manet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Whistler, Picasso, Dali and others. The tales of their creation and how they survived burglary, forgery, revolution and ransom are riveting.
