Chairs that have been transformed into unique works of art will be on display and available for silent auction at the Phoenix Advertising Club's (PAC) Chair.ity gala! Coinciding with the Artlink First Friday artwalk held in downtown Phoenix each month, the PAC Chair.ity event will offer an evening of music, drinks, food and creative inspiration, culminating with a silent auction designed to keep participants on the edge of their seats. Chair.ity also offers aspiring local area artists the opportunity to 'pull the chair out from under their competition' while doing something great for the community. In this case, transforming plain chairs into one-of-a-kind works of art to benefit thousands of abused, neglected and homeless children. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to Free Arts of Arizona, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to spark the creative spirit of abused, homeless and at-risk children and their families to inspire and transform their lives through the power of artistic expression.
