The Mesa Historical Museum is pleased to invite the public to the DVD Release Party for the new Grudgemeyer DVD. In addition to being one of the first to buy the new DVD, the public will get another chance to meet Bill Thompson, otherwise known as 'Wallace,' and get his autograph. If you grew up in Arizona, you may remember the popular, long-running television program, The Wallace and Ladmo Show. The Mesa Historical Museum recently opened Thanks for Tuning In: The Wallace and Ladmo Show, an exhibit that explores the history and fun facts of the local television show that captivated three generations of Arizonans. From Arizona's own Wallace and Ladmo Show comes the best of Mr. Grudgemeyer. Yes, over 90 minutes of the grumpiest guy in the park and his epic battles with Ladmo. Grudgemeyer himself (Wallace) provides interesting behind-the-scenes information on this beloved character. Special bonus clips include two Old Time Movies with Grudgemeyer that were filmed at Legend City along with a rare live stage performance in 1989. So pull up your park bench and get your balloons ready for a hat-smashing good time.
