The Heymakers - Swing and Rockabilly

Come check out The Heymakers as they perform live swing and rockabilly music! There will also be a special Lindy Hop dance lesson, as well as a swing dance lesson. Learn the moves, then dance to the live music and DJ until 2:00am! Event Location: Phoenix Ballroom, The Sheraton Crescent Hotel Important Information: This event is all ages, but a bar is provided for those 21 years of age and older with valid photo ID.

Swing night at the Wrigley is amazing and there are lots of young people. The average age is about 30 with lots of people in there 20's including a group of pin-up girls that come each week. A great place to take a date or just to show up as a single. I learned how to dance at the Wrigley Mansion, how cool is that? Collapse

I went last thursday, granted it was a great learning experience, but at 26 i felt that i was in the wrong scene. As i looked around there was hardly anyone under the age of 50. Yikes !! Though the people were really nice, it would have been nice to see a younger crowd. I wont be coming back unless bring my grandparents or a guest from out of town that fits this scene. Collapse
