This ambitious, room-sized installation explores the artist's concerns of genetically altered foods, cloned animals and the hybridization of the material world. Crossing the boundaries of conventional ceramics, Beiner's focus is making what is organic, synthetic. With encrusted walls, floor and ceiling space, imagining a manufactured world of hybridized life, Synthetic Reality encompasses the viewer.

    I just rented this movie. To be honest, I rented it because of Peter Falk and Laura San Giacomo. It wasn't until later that I saw that it won best picture at the 2005 Phoenix Film Festival. Thank you... Expand

    I just rented this movie. To be honest, I rented it because of Peter Falk and Laura San Giacomo. It wasn't until later that I saw that it won best picture at the 2005 Phoenix Film Festival. Thank you for allowing movies like this to be exposed to the public. What a delightful movie!!!! I have never been to your film festival, but if this movie represents the quality of your festival, WOW!!! It is to late for me to attend this year, but I'll be there next year. Again, thank you.
