The Lindy Hop Society now offers a swing night every Thursday in the Veranda of the 1932 historic building named for its first owner, gum magnate William Wrigley, Jr. Each Thursday consists of a swing dance lesson followed by a DJ or (on the last Thursday of every month) live band. Enjoy a $3.00 discount off the cover price if you dress in vintage clothes of the 1920's-1950's!

Swing night at the Wrigley is amazing and there are lots of young people. The average age is about 30 with lots of people in there 20's including a group of pin-up girls that come each week. A great place to take a date or just to show up as a single. I learned how to dance at the Wrigley Mansion, how cool is that? Collapse

I went last thursday, granted it was a great learning experience, but at 26 i felt that i was in the wrong scene. As i looked around there was hardly anyone under the age of 50. Yikes !! Though the people were really nice, it would have been nice to see a younger crowd. I wont be coming back unless bring my grandparents or a guest from out of town that fits this scene. Collapse
