Murder In Paradise

Murder in Paradise is an interactive dining/theatrical experience, where comedy, cuisine and killers collide! Murder in Paradise features a cast of local actors, including Craig Victor as 'Chief Inspector Wes Chester,' Nick Jones as the ne'er-do-well son 'Reginald' and Jeffry Walker as the know-it-all butler, 'Chives'. Rounding out the cast are Drew Ignatowski as the mysterious photographer, 'Flash La Rapier,' Joe Kearns as Hollywood's most infamous director, 'Sidney Lumiere' and Shauna Lynn Reiser as the sharp-shooting daughter 'Claire.' Sandra Umber plays 'Matilda Winchester,' Elizabeth Loos is the flamboyant movie star, 'Victoria Siren' and the production is accompanied by Michael Snyder on piano. Neither my 27 year old daughter or myself enjoyed this production. The producers did not bother to develop any characters so neither of us had any emotional attachment to the characters. The singing... Expand

I was excited to see the show because it was my first time to experience an interactive play. There was not much acting really -- The food was good although the courses were served so spaced out that by the time they served the main course, I've already lost my appetite. The show was boring even though there was audience participation. The jokes injected by Trace were old golf jokes. I wanted to try and see another show in Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre but I am now having second thoughts. Collapse

Wow! I went to Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre's new show All Shook Up and just loved it! I can't remember the last time a show made me laugh as much as this one did. It is so much FUN! Classic Elvis songs, mistaken identities, love triangles...what more could you ask for. April is excellent as Natalie and J. Michael is a wonderful Chad. Other outstanding performances by Chelsea(what a voice!)and Ben make this show a must see. I highly recommend it for a fun night out! Collapse

The Broadway Palm is normally a place for high-end entertainment, but from now thru September, the Palm will be transformed into your neighborhood honky tonk for the run of the country-fried musical, The Honky Tonk Angels. In the first act of the show, the audience is introduced to three women from different walks of life, portrayed by BP veterans Elizabeth, Carolyn, and Jillian. Their priorities might have gotten in the way of their dreams of being singers, but destiny brings the 3 of them together as they meet on a bus bound for Nashville, and become the Honky Tonk Angels. While the first act establishes the Angels’ story, the second act is easily the highlight of the show. One of the most notable numbers is “Harper Valley PTA,” in which the charismatic Loos sings from the humorous perspective of a mother with questionable parenting skills. Filled with heart, humor and beloved country tunes, The Honky Tonk Angels is your ticket for a good old time this summer. Collapse

I attended the opening night performance of this show and it was a treat. The food was amazing(standing ovation for the chef) and the script rather funny. Kudos to Chuck he was highly entertaining. The costumes were a delight and a wonderful nod to the 1970's. I recommend this for any mystery buff or avid golfer. After attending Honky Tonk Angels which too was a wonderful production my wife and I thought this would be a fun evening and we were correct. I recommend getting your tickets soon for this as the evening we attended there was not an empty seat. Congratulations to the staff at Broadway Palm for bringing such wonderful entertainment to the Valley. Best of luck on your new season and many more to come. My wife and I look forward to seeing all of your upcoming shows. Keep up the exceptional work! Collapse

'The Honky Tonk Angels' was not as spectacular as I expected. The set was very classy, although the lousy script and costumes really shot this one! Fame Loos was amazing as usual, although Zygo and McPhee did not dazzle me. But as the music flowed through this tight production, 'The Honky Tonk Angels' is one to miss. Collapse
