The Accidental Collaborative: Performance Documentaries, Art Videos and Audio features the film work of current MCA exhibited artists Jeff Falk and Annie Lopez. Falk has worked extensively with his partner Lopez and artists of other mediums to successfully combine and inspire with his peculiar vision. Documentary footage from the artist cooperative Artlab 16, Falk/Lopez performance videos and collaboration films made with other Arizona artists will be presented; along with an enlightening discussion of the collaborative process. Falk will be joined by video collaborator Steve Gompf, professor of interactive media, Game Design at Collins College. Gompf has worked with Falk on several projects and has also worked on 'camera-less' animations based on Falk's audio readings. Important Information: The films will be screened in the Dobson Lecture Hall at Mesa Contemporary Arts. These films contain adult language.
