This was another job well done by Hale, the acting was top notch, and the sets looked like they were ready for Broadway! For a wonderful evening of great theatre and a wonderful experience go to Hale!

Best Acting I've seen in town in a long time. Hale always manages to do a great job. This is NOT a community theatre.

Fun show with great singing and dancing. I only wish I had sat higher up in the audience. Being in the front row I couldn't see a lot of the action over the set pieces, and saw a lot of actor's backs....

Highley recommended for an evening of live music, near perfect vocal harmonies, refreshing presentation of endearing characters, clever choreography and audience involvement. Appropriate and enjoyable for the whole family. Jordan Bluth (Frankie), Jere VanPatten (Jinx), Steve Hassmer (Sparky) and Brad Rupp (Smudge) breathe life into these classic tunes and add gusto to each number. The evening passed much too quickly and left me wanting more. My smile muscles were tired. Great venue and very intimate setting with appx 300 seats in the house. Hat's off to the band and the Plaid's for an outstanding performance. Collapse

After the recent spate of weird, albeit most enjoyable, plays at our local alternative theatres, "John Loves Mary" was a most agreeable respite. As is their wont, Hale Center Theatre offers up their typical romantic comedy fare, with just that right touch of slapstick/farce. My only concern was the rushed and therefore somewhat illogical ending, which should have been drawn out by the playwright for more laughs as each loose end was logically tied up. Pity that a current play still under copyright or licence can't be improved a little here and there. Collapse
