The museum and nature preserve are a great quiet place to sit and think and get away from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix and Glendale. The petroglyphs are best viewed in the morning before 11:00 am or in the afternoon after 3:00 pm. The museum offers informative displays. The nature trail is wide and well graded. Bring the kids to show them wildlife. Squirrels and rabbits abound and provide ample food for the owls and raptors on the property. The occasional javelina is seen in the early morning. Their website is both interesting and informative. Collapse
