Las Sendas, which is Spanish for 'pathways,' is an area of present-day Mesa near the point where the Verde and Salt rivers meet. Dr. Ben Furlong will present a lecture on the history of this rich area of Mesa, based on his new book, Las Sendas: Where the River Meets the Valley.
