Sixteen artists use the artistic form of the tool; some reinterpret its function and others used the imagery of tools symbolically to tell a story. They draw, print, paint, photograph, forge and fabricate tools. Some bead and others weld tools. Some combine found objects with old tools to create something new. Whether artists create a likeness, miniaturize, enlarge or embellish, the tool has become art.
