    PEARLS: Motherhood Unstrung is a moving portrait of motherhood - the pathos, humor and anguish beneath the surface of the maternal experience. The play incorporates a collection of essays inspired and created by the students of 'Mothers Who Write,' a workshop for mothers of all ages and levels of experience, taught under the auspices of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMOCA).
