A representative of Tread Lightly, Inc, will give a special presentation and discussion intended to educate the public on responsible and ethical outdoor recreation practices. T.R.E.A.D. is an acronym for: Travel and recreate with minimum impact, Respect the environment and the rights of others, Educate yourself, plan and prepare before you go, Allow for future use of the land, leave it better than you found it, Discover the rewards of responsible recreation. The program will include a 20-25 minute powerpoint presentation followed by a group discussion, including possible outdoor scenarios. You can make good choices when recreating outdoors, whether it's with a four-wheel drive, ATV, bicycle, or simply hiking. Its up to us to preserve our natural spaces for future generations.
