Add Review/CommentAuthor, singer, storyteller and historian Marshall Trimble will be speaking Searching for Mesa: Finding Ourselves in History exhibit. The exhibit features more than 200 historic photographs and hundreds of artifacts, as well as recorded oral histories from past Mesa residents and a variety of hands-on activities for children. Marshall Trimble, a former Mesa resident, is often referred to as 'Arizona's Official State Historian'. He is a sought after speaker and a colorful historian and musician. Trimble has an M.A. in Westerns and Arizona History from Arizona State University, and has been head of Southwest Studies at Scottsdale Community College for the past 25 years. His lecture will be on the topic of Mesa's history and its connection to state and national history.
