The hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of the average working American are the focus of this unique, extraordinary musical. That the everyday lives of 'common' men and women should be so compelling and moving will surprise and inspire anyone who has ever punched a time clock... or sees this show.

First of all, I have to say the set designer Mark Austin, did a wonderful job on this set, it was very creative and possibly the best set I have seen at Theater Works. Unfortunately, the set is the sole piece of professionalism in this very rough production. While there were a small handful of good voices, the majority of this cast had very weak voices that have trouble holding pitch. This made several of the solo numbers and practically all of the ensemble numbers rather painful to listen to. While some of the choreography was very clever, it appeared the most of the cast was very unsure of it and where quite obviously looking at feet of the two strong dancers. These factors, combined with poor direction and questionable casting added up to a very unsatisfying theatrical experience. I would advise fellow theater patrons to pass on this production. Collapse
