    The newly formed Men's Art League in association with West Valley Art Museum is holding its first major event of the year. In addition to tasting excellent wines offered by Devine Wines, and sampling hors d'oeuvres, guests will be afforded the opportunity to bid on art by silent auction and live auction, from a large number of special works donated by well known artists from around Arizona. Also included are many Museum quality European paintings that have been donated to the Museum and do not fit the Museum's collecting parameters. Auction pieces can be viewed starting July 1 and bids will also be taken for the silent auction up through the auction evening. Among the artists who have provided work for this event are; Shakour Carter, Jim Covarrubius, Michael Cunningham, Clinton Hobart, George Palovich, Vikki Reed, Red Rohall and John Waddell. Many of the artists will be present to talk to during the evening and Jim Covarrubius will actually create a painting on the spot to be auctioned off. Other art works available are from the Celebrating Art of the West Valley III show in which 25 of the artists have agreed to participate in the silent auction. Proceeds from this fund raiser support operations of West Valley Art Museum.
