Add Review/CommentIt's the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the year is 1968, and a tribe of hippies in New York's Central Park is letting down their gleaming, streaming, long beautiful hair - and a revolutionary musical that changes everything opens on Broadway and conquers the world. Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical by Gerome Ragni and James Rado with music by Galt MacDermott gave a generation of young Americans a way to express themselves through music that gloriously combined rock-and-roll with Broadway craft. Those who experienced it then will want to groove to it again, while those who were too young the first time around get the chance to discover what the fuss was all about in the production's 40th Anniversary. Important Information: Single tickets and event packages are now available for Arizona Theatre Company's New Year's Eve performance of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 7:30pm. Tickets to this special performance of Hair range from $45 to $80, depending on seating and include pre-show champagne cocktails with a champagne toast during intermission, courtesy of Barefoot Wine.
