    Love and freedom triumph in the joyful Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved musical favorite. It's the uplifting story of a would-be nun, Maria, who is too high-spirited for religious life. She is dispatched to become governess to the seven children of a stern, widowed naval captain in Nazi-occupied Austria. Written by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse and based on the real-life story of the Trapp Family Singers. With favorite songs like 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain' and 'Edelweiss', the more you see it, the more it becomes one of your favorite things. Directed by Terry Helland. For all ages.
